Lets face it they stink at art critiques because they happen to be blind…and def…but smart to boot. So if you happen to have a image heavy page or even any images at all you really need to help these guys out. This not only is a great practice when working on SEO but its a practice that should be done no matter what.

What Im talking about is adding some simple elements to your page elements like height, width, alt, title, very simple but it can make a whole difference when you put up your pictures and google has no clue what keywords go with them.

Custom 404 pages can be really helpfull or really hurtfull. Most times people just hit them and walk away looking for something else or poking about the rest of the site. Sometimes they are looking for something that doesn’t exist, other times its because we have messed up linking a file and the server have no idea what we are looking for.

I ran across this link while surfing slashdot. Its a great article on the troubles of the blind surfing the web. I know we have all read about it, but theres a great video on the article that actually plays a readers output. It also had a link in it on WebAIM’s Section 508 Checklist a cool little resource for us. Enjoy!

Matt Mullenweg’s state of Word Press 2.5, about an hour long, video after the jump. Its a great way to see all of whats changed in the new release. I highly recommend watching this…if anything just to see a man talking while full of pain meds. Video is after the jump.
